The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and hot. The sushi tools were yummy. We didn't realize they were very similar to each other. Service was attentive. Not too busy on a Saturday for lunch. It reminded me of places I ate in Japan as well as in little Tokyo. Ambience was tranquil and led to a relaxing dining experience. I would definitely come back next time I'm staying in Ktown.

Wow! Awesome hidden gem. Loving how fresh and seasoned every dish we ordered was. Amazing quality fish; fresh and paired well in their rolls. Chicken Katsu perfectly crisp and tender inside. Curry was seasoned to perfection. I will come back again .

My boyfriend and I are regulars here, we're actually here right now as I'm typing this review lol! There's nothing more that brings pure joy and happiness in our lives other than the king crab bites. Everything is amazing but I beg management, we wouldn't know what to do with our selves if you decide to remove this from the menu. Please always keep this available! All the food is 10/10 but king crab is 2000/10 and I wouldn't know where else to order this item. The staff is always professional and quick. I've never had a bad experience. The only time we were disappointed was when Kopan ran out of the king crab bites on Christmas Day. Can you tell we're really big fans, we came after a family gathering. Ambiance is extremely clean and we usually get seated right away.

Perfect spot for a small group of friends or a date or even just by yourself. I love the location inside the mall with other shops and dessert options right next door. The service is excellent and interior is eye-catching and pleasant to eat inside. The decorations take me back to Japan. I wasn't impressed by the food, but it's as good as you're going to find in Koreatown. Prices are average, but because it's sushi and izakaya style, you can easily drop $80-$100 per person if you eat or drink a lot. Next time I come, I'll eat a little beforehand at McDonald's. haha. Parking can be difficult or expensive. You're best option is the parking lot for the movie theater, but I think you pay extra. Otherwise, you need to find street parking, which you can find if you want to drive around for 40 minutes, or you find another lot. Since The Wiltern is on the next block, you're fighting for parking spots whenever there is a concert or event happening there. I can't stress enough that you need to have a parking plan before coming to this plaza.

It's not just typical izakaya. The sushi quality is good enough to compare with omakase at a specialized sushi restaurant. Best of all, the prices are fantastic. If you want to enjoy sushi in a private setting, I highly recommend this place.

Pretty good sushi for the area and a large diverse Japanese menu. They have a good amount of Japanese alcoholic options as well. Interior is very well put together and service is amicable. Salmon sashimi is great quality. I also like that they have a protein roll for those who are concerned about macros. I also got the spicy garlic edamame which was meh.. it was too saucy to enjoy. Overall, a great choice if you're in the area!

Brought to you by the same company as Kopan Ramen. Jessica Albacore comes with a soy mustard dressing that really brings a punch of salt and tartness that's quickly contrasted with the sweetness of the albacore and the creaminess of the avocado, then ultimately with a kick of spice from the jalapeno. The yuzu miso black snapper crudo on the other hand ... is sweet on sweet with the yuzu permeating every moment of the bite and overpowering the black snapper. I wasn't really a fan of this one since I didn't feel it was well balanced in taste. Other than that, the rolls seemed pretty decent; it's perfectly sized such that you can have one easy bite, but not too small such that you're left hungry by the end of the meal. Sushi rice was lightly seasoned, enough that you wouldn't be thinking about it nor thinking that it was too plain. Service here is attentive and quick; our waiter definitely made us feel welcomed and was very polite as well. Overall, a pretty decent spot and it helps a lot that they validate parking in the structure.

Excellent service, food, and presentation and most importantly value. Tonkatsu curry best plating I've had with the stone pot like bibimbap? Ah hell yea and the donkatsu Korean naming style separate. Sushi was all money, Shari perfect, precision cuts and sizes on point. Bluefin on a rainbow roll hell yes again. Mini Don's resembled Nobu looks. Sexy. Will be back.
